The Transition Marches On

ALBANY—Even if the question of leadership is still up in the air, it seems the transition is going ahead.

Two sources close to the process said a committee coordinating the shift of power met yesterday. I snapped this picture outside the office of State Senator Vincent Leibell, a Hudson Valley Republican.

No word on whether the office cleaning is anything more than routine. There have been signs from other Republicans that they're preparing for life in the minority.
