After announcing a $50 million settlement with a health insurance company, Andrew Cuomo fielded questions about replacing Hillary Clinton in the Senate.
Cuomo repeatedly declined to say whether he had filled out the questionnaire David Paterson sent to prospective candidates, and did not take a position on whether the governor is violating state law by not making the form public, as one state employee has said.
When I asked Cuomo about making the information public, he said, “It’s the same answer. I know you don’t like to hear the same answer, but it’s the same question, so it’s the same answer.”
Andrea Peyser managed to grab Cuomo for a few minutes alone.
