Micah Lasher, the former City Council candidate whose candidacy got derailed by the term-limits extension, is now going to work for Michael Bloomberg.
Lasher emailed friends and supporters over the weekend to say he’s accepted a position at the Department of Education as executive director of public affairs.
Lasher had been working for Representative Jerry Nadler and prior to that, he worked at Knickerbocker SKD, the firm that helped run the mayor’s re-election campaign.
