Bruce Schaller Goes to D.O.T.


Bruce Schaller, the ubiquitous transportation consultant who did a lot of the data digging for proponents of congestion pricing, has joined the city’s Department of Transportation—at the deputy commissioner level no less.

Transit advocates are counting it as another win for progressive planning hot on the heels of Janette Sadik-Khan’s appointment as commissioner.
