Catsimatidis: Obama Still Running?
At the Clinton Global Initiative yesterday, I ran into Hillary Clinton fund-raiser and aspiring Bloomberg successor John Catsimatidis. When I told him I was on my way to an event for Barack Obama, Catsimatidis said, "Is he still running?"
Before leaving, I asked Catsimatidis when he was going to change his party registration from Democrat to Republican, something he said he'd do in order to run for mayor. He told me the deadline to watch for was coming up on October 12.

Obama....
Not that all Political Hero's are the cream of the crop coming from up from the so called farm system of politics.
But, Being the Governor of a State for eight or more years, handling problems within and interacting with Federal Government Branches.
Or being a United States Senator or Congressional Member for eight to twelve years might carry water in regard to being Presidential, a least one then knows the "Operation" of government, connections etc....
But as a local "State Senator" in which Obama did a couple of years at this position, he handled jobs as Street namings, Park dedications etc....you know where I am coming from.
I admit, In six years or so momentum will be with this guy, he has gotten his name recognition out there in front of the whole Country. Yes, he now has a future, he photogenic and good on his feet. His time will come.
I just amazes me how NO ONE in the media has reflected on his total Inexperience in government. Are they afraid to do so?
That being said, as a Conservative he has no chance of getting my vote.
October 12 is the deadline for Catsimatidis to switch and be able to vote in Republican Primaries in 2008. He has until October of 2008 to do so for the 2009 Primary.
Hillary's supporters are always so vicious and nasty. Just like them intentionally sandbagging his speech on nuclear weapons.
It's really unbecoming. Hillary and crowd should be competing in World Wide Wrestling not for President of the United States.
