12 p.m. Federal court hearing in lawsuit by Debbie Almontaser, founding principal of the Khalil Gibran Academy, against the N.Y.C. Department of Education and the mayor at 500 Pearl St.

12:45 p.m. N.J. Governor Corzine speaks at New Jersey Citizen Action's membership convention. Other speakers include New York Times columnist Paul Krugman. Held at the Student Center Conference Room, Rutgers University-Livingston Campus, Piscataway, N.J.

3:25 p.m. to 3:55 p.m. God's Love We Deliver commemorates World AIDS Day at it's headquarters, 166 Sixth Ave.
