Imus: Brokaw Is 'Not the Most Courageous Person I've Ever Met'

Since returning to the air December 3, Don Imus has seen many of his regular guests come back to the show. But one probably won't be returning.
During an on-air conversation with the columnist James Brady Wednesday, the Post's Page Six reports, Mr. Imus had these words for the former NBC anchor: "He [Brokaw] is not the most courageous person I've ever met in my life," Imus told his listeners on Wednesday. "He's not the guy I'd want to be in a foxhole with."
That came after Mr. Brokaw said in an interview last week that Mr. Imus "should have been fired" for his comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team last April.

I agree with Imus !!!
The "YES MEN" at NBC are all cowards and I would include Tim Russert and Brian Williams along with Brokaw !!!
When Imus was riding high ...they were there every morning ...flapping their jaws, whoring their books and getting their egos stroked by Imus and the boys !!!
Especially distasteful was Tim Russert, he was the phoniest of all !!! He would be part of the "boy talk" and never never once did he ever object !! He just cackled like Hillary and had a grand ole time ...book after book after book sale !!
Then when Imus got in trouble .....where were his "good buddies" ??? No where, no where to be found !! In fact, the NBC "clean boys" were the first to twist the knife !!
So if Imus called Brokaw a coward ....I would say, what took you so long !!! And what about the rest ....Fat-Face Timmy Russert and Brian "Katrina" Williams ....would you want to be in a foxhole with them ???
Too bad Imus is prevented from using the "HO" word ....I guess that means Andrea Mitchell won't be on the new show any time soon !!!
GO IMUS !!!
Keep telling them like it is !!!
And don't forget Satan .....we know she was the one that did you in in the first place !!!
I first listened to the MSNBC show when I awoke early while living in Southern California. The pre-December show was a little tough at times, but like the Simpsons, only rarely would I feel a little embarrassed as I laughed.
As a recovering AA myself, I think everyone is taking themselves too seriously most of the time--including me. Members of this politically-correct culture should rethink our way of life "when no one is watching." We like to think we are charitable and cooperative with others. Challenge yourself to do something good for someone else each day. Oh yes, if they find out you did that deed it doesn't count.
Let us know when the show is re-syndicated to the Washington, DC area. The Lord knows this area could use some real humor rather than the repressed pain that passes for laughter behind the cloak room door.
