Israeli Peer on New Yorkers

This afternoon, the Israeli Shahar Peer will take on Anna Chakvetadze in the quarterfinals. Here’s what Peer had to say about fans in Flushing:

Tell me about it. They're everywhere. You can't even cook up a halfway decent scheme in this goddamned town anymore. Not to mention that honor killings are down over 34 percent since Bloomberg took office!
