Jonathan Rhys Meyers Arrested

Jonathan Rhys Meyers was picked up yesterday by police in his native Ireland, where he was charged with public drunkenness and breach of peace. Mr. Rhys Meyers was allegedly arrested for his “erratic, abusive” behavior at an airport gate before traveling on to London. He will have to appear in an Irish court on December 5. In 2006, after battling alcohol problems, the actor told the AP that he “would never drink again.”
