So I guess it's really time to ask what the Bernard Kerik news going to mean for the Giuliani campaign. What's the long view here?

Five to ten. Probably not four, or eight.
If it can be shown that Giuliani knew or should have known what Kerik was up to, then it could be damaging. Otherwise, it won't drag Giuliani down much. After all, he's got plenty of personal, professional and political baggage that will become campaign fodder.
Most interesting name out of that indictment of "John Doe" this and "John Doe" that is Witkoff.
As in Witkoff and Cipriani.
As in Witkoff and Pataki.
As in big donor to Republican coffers.
As in real estate developer.

RE: Rudy Defending Kerik
Kerik romances his book publisher in the building across the street from the World Trade Center, while we work below him on the disaster on the rockpile below him.
Kerik does not obtain “Top Secret Clearance” from the FBI as NYPD Police Commissioner for Joint Federal Cases, knowing he could not cut muster in doing so.
Kerik ’s college degree is an “On-Line” degree and he declares bankruptcy.
Kerik’spends time in the back seat of his police car writing on his memoirs instead of tending to police business.
Kerik’s ties to the mob and their associates.
How is it every Detective on the NYPD knew this guy was a misfit except Rudy?
We all knew that this guy was nothing but a “Bootlick” for Rudy with NO credentials at all to hold serious positions of leadership.
Karl Rove had to know this also. Rove had to know that Kerik would self distrust within 48 hours of being appointed to his Federal position. (Which happened by the way)
Kerik will Hurt Rudy....
And as you all are getting to see as everyday goes by...
Rudy will Hurt Rudy....
I know that the New York Liberal Press has a hard time absorbing this But....Rudy will not be the Candidate for President (As I have been saying for many of months now on this blog)
