Kevin Parker: Dear's Not Fit to Serve Anywhere
Before winning a Democratic primary for a judicial post last week, Noach Dear ran for state Senator in Brooklyn in 2002, 2004 and 2006. He lost each time to Kevin Parker, who had this to say about Dear's qualifications as a public servant:
"I don’t think he’s fit, frankly, to serve anywhere. And I would rather had him lose his election and run against me every year and let me beat him every year, than have him serve this borough and this state in any capacity."

This is the dictionary definition of chutzpah. As bad as Dear is...and that is pretty bad....Kevin "Sluggo" Parker talking about fitness to hold office is absurd. Glad that he is now resorting to verbal fisticuffs rather than belting civil servants or abusing the women in his employ. Take's a chazar to know a chazar.
PS And talk about ignorant...the "Judicial Impaneling organization isn't going to seat him? What the heck is this idiot talking about?"
That's right Fred, Parker's unfit, and so was Dear. The solution was to beat Dear this year, and Parker the next, instead of making lame-ass excuses about how's Dear no worse than someone else.
Someone should teach Professor Parker a lesson in Democracy. The time to make his views know was BEFORE the election. The people have spoken and Noach Dear will be the next Judge. It's too bad that Parker spoke after the people.
I've not dealt with Parker, but I have with Dear, and there is no doubt that Parker is completely on target in his evaluation of Dear, who should not be elected, selected as a candidate or appointed to anything. He's as bad as any public official out there (he's now on the Taxi & Limousine Commission, and of course was a council member for years), certainly among the worst two or three of the hundreds I've encountered over the years.
I live in Senator Parker's district and he is doing a commendable job. He diplomatically serves people of all colors and creeds. Noach the Roach should just stop running for office altogether.
I totally agree with "whoson first." I really commend Senator Parker's outreach to the Jewish community, among many other things.
As for Noach Dear, he should change his name to Noach Dreck.
