New York Sun books editor Thomas Meaney is leaving the paper to pursue a phD in European history at Columbia. "I officially turn in my wings on Tuesday," he said in an interview. His replacement is 25-year-old David Wallace-Wells.
According to Mr. Meaney, Mr. Wallace-Wells graduated from Brown in 2004 and has since worked at Slate.com and the publisher Henry Holt.
