Robert Chambers' Girlfriend, Arrested With Him, Pleads Guilty

The girlfriend of Robert Chambers, otherwise known as the “Preppie Killer,” pleaded guilty to selling drugs to an undercover cop. Shawn Kovell, a 41-year-old woman, was arrested alongside Mr. Chambers, also 41, in their Manhattan apartment on October 22. Ms. Kovell’s lover, who pleaded guilty to the 1986 manslaughter of Jennifer Levin in Central Park after the two left Upper East Side watering hole Dorrian's Red Hand, is now in jail without the possibility of bail. He pleaded not guilty to the drug charges.
