I'm reading a transcript from the Roger Federer press conference, which I missed.
Q. What do you know about Althea Gibson?
ROGER FEDERER: I don't know. You're putting me on the spot. I don't know what you're talking about.
Q. She's being honored tonight.
ROGER FEDERER: It's before my time. Isn't much I can really say about it.
Tonight, the USTA is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Althea Gibson's victory at the U.S. National Championship, which was the first time a black tennis player grabbed that championship.
