Kuczynski? Gesundheit! “You just can’t keep putting stuff in your face and think it’s going to look natural after five or ten years,” said cosmetic surgery expert and society Valkyrie Alex Kuczynski. “People who just fill and fill their face end up looking like Peanuts characters.” Ms. Kuczynski, author of Beauty Junkies: Inside our $15 Billion Obsession with Cosmetic Surgery, has lunch (chomp, chomp, chomp!) at the Southampton Inn to benefit the Rogers Memorial Library Foundation. She’ll be talking about—well, what else?—“my labioplasty,” she said. And: “I have a sort of dog-and-pony show where I show slides of good plastic surgery and bad plastic surgery.” Scary! Meanwhile, back in the land of hot asphalt, there’s a party for the new movie Delirious at the Tribeca Grand Hotel. The film is about celebrity and paparazzi and stars Steve Buscemi, Gina Gershon, Elvis Costello, Michael Pitt and the one young starlet not in danger of going to jail, Alison Lohman. Mr. Buscemi may be the only one to actually show up tonight, though. Please, Elvis, come and bring Diana Krall and make it a party!
