Who knew that Museum of Sex place was still open? And how much Purell does it take to swab that sucker down, anyway? Today there’s a fund-raising event there, “Safer Sex in the City,” to support the AIDS Service Center N.Y.C. There will be a special performance by club kid Kevin Aviance, dancing, an open bar—in short, all the ingredients of an unsafe sexual experience …. O.K.! If your wackiness quota has still not been satisfied, we suggest you check out the solo dance piece by Risa Jaroslow entitled A Jew in Poland, which will “address the destruction and absence of old Jewish communities in Poland.” By dancing! These are some dance moves we simply must see.
