Wright Won't Change Schedule for Spitzer
A key element of Eliot Spitzer’s tour throughout the state in recent weeks has been to visit the Assembly districts of officials he rubbed the wrong way. One of his first stops was to Syracuse, home of Bill Magnerelli.
This morning, Spitzer is visiting the Manhattan Assembly District of Keith Wright to speak at the Upper Manhattan Workforce Career Center. Wright had been critical of Spitzer way before the scandal with the troopers, and he told me that Spitzer's people called him to invite him to the event.
But Wright isn’t ready to make nice yet. Or at least, not ready enough to to clear out his schedule to accommodate the governor.
“I just had other plans," he told me, when I asked him about the visit. "Other things to do.”

This guy is a sad representative for Harlem. A Harlem pol with an ego is not hard to come by, but at least the others produce results for their constituents. Keith Wright has the ego, but not the work ethic.
Oh like Inez Dickens is better? Or Bill Perkins?
Inez has missed the most chamber time of any council member and her staff doesn't know Harlem worth a damn.
Bill Perkins is a shill of the real estate industry, taking 65% of all campaign contributions from developers while campaigning on the point of affordable housing.
At least Wright isn't a corporate pawn and is generally honest, and his did help me get into an HPD apartment, and I dont even know him that well. And he's not a landlord like inez or an outsider like bill.
So all in all, i'd say he's not that bad. Especially when you look at his competition.
