Anton Mueller, Recently Laid Off at Houghton Mifflin, Joins Team at Bloomsbury Version 2.0

Anton Mueller, who was laid off from Houghton Mifflin last month, has found a new job at Bloomsbury USA, a house that recently suffered an upheaval when founding President Karen Rinaldi resigned and went to work for someone else.

Mr. Mueller's firing was greeted with furrowed brows across the publishing community, but it's unclear whether his new job at Bloomsbury--a house that is now unambiguously in the midst of a rebuilding stage, with new leadership in place-- will make the people who worried about his fate feel that much calmer. More on that later, with any luck.
