Bombing for Butterflies in NYC
Banksy wouldn't dare tag over this graffiti. Urban art blog Animal New York reports on a new ecological project underway to help the beloved monarch butterfly find food in the desolate urban jungle. Like the giant golden arches signaling you to your nearest Big Mac, these painted images of milkweed flowers will mean mealtime for the hungry monarchs. If only they could think of a way to prevent New Yorkers from stealing the pretty potted plants…
