Pushing Daises' Ratings Drop Like the Dow
It looks like Pushing Daises is one step closer to becoming the next Wonderfalls. The overly precious ABC hour-long had its second season premiere last night to what could only be called disastrous ratings. Daisies dropped a Dow-like 55% from it's ratings a year ago, and finished fourth in the time slot with a scant 6 million viewers.
Count us in the category of people who, well, don't care! Pushing Daisies is all so perfect and sincere that it comes off as wildly insincere. So we can't say we'll be disappointed when its inevitable cancellation arrives and begets a slew of "Bring Back Pushing Daisies!" Web sites. Sorry fans, when you're trailing in the overnight ratings to Knight Rider, you know you aren't long for the world of network television.
