Tom Waits Concert to Air on NPR

Culty singer-songwriter Tom Waits, he of Dylan-meets-Weill appeal, will air a full performance of his "Glitter & Doom" summer tour on NPR Music's "Live in Concert" series. The show was recorded at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, Ga. on July 5. According to the press release, it's a "two-and-a-half hour performance, featuring rarities he’s never played outside a studio including “Hold On,” “All the World is Green” and “Hoist That Rag,” and “Anywhere I Lay My Head.”

You can tune in starting tomorrow, July 29, on the NPR Web site, and listen to the free podcast.
