Bill Murray's Wife Files for Divorce

Less than 24 hours after we learned that George Clooney and live-in girlfriend, Sarah Larson, have split, we've been hit with yet another devastating break-up.

The Post and Courier of Charlston is reporting that Bill Murray's wife, Jennifer Butler Murray, filed for divorce on May 12 citing "adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addictions and frequent abandonment."

According to the filed complaint, Mr. Murray "hit his wife in the face and then told her she was 'lucky he didn't kill her' during an incident that took place in November 2007."

Mrs. Murray is seeking a restraining order to bar her husband from her home on Sullivan's Island, South Carolina. She is also asking that the court determine whether the couple's premarital agreement, which states that Mr. Murray will pay his wife $7 million in case of divorce, is valid. The couple have four children.
