Bloomberg Denies Conversation With Hagel

This weekend the New York Times reported a conversation with Chuck Hagel in which the Senator said he talked to Michael Bloomberg about an independent presidential ticket.
Today, Bloomberg denied that report.
"I never talked to him about being a candidate," the told reporters after a speech at the United Nations in Midtown. "We just never had that conversation."
Bloomberg was responding to a question from a reporter.
