Catsimatidis Meets and Greets Queens G.O.P.

Republican mayoral hopeful (and Hillraiser) John Catsimatidis is hosting a free breakfast for Republican district leaders in Queens this Saturday. Catsimadis has been courting local operatives and discussing his potential campaign for a good while now.
At a Republican dinner last year, while he was still a Democrat, Catsimatidis told Queens Republicans that he would “do whatever is possible to help build the party.” The Queens County Republican organization reciprocated by giving Catsimatidis one of its annual awards.
This Saturday’s breakfast is by invitation only and is billed as a meet-and-greet. It’s taking place at the Reception House on Northern Boulevard, the same place where last year’s dinner was held.

is it just me, or is he stoned in that photo? ah well, it's clear that smoking marijuana is not in and of itself a barrier to public office. but it might make running a vigorous campaign for mayor just a little... more... difficult...
So if he runs for mayor, will we expect Gristede's supermarkets to clean up their act? All anyone running against him has to do is bring up Gristede's and they'll gain the anti-Gristede's vote, a sizable constituency.
He looks as stoned as Scott Stringer. Come to think of it, Stringer's brother used to work for Catsimedides.
Would you really vote for someone so ugly?
What sophomoric dribble. Sure the guy is no Clark Gable but he is a self-made Billionaire who built a hugely successful company that employs thousands of New Yorkers and he has given boatloads of money to children’s charities years before people started talking about him as a Mayoral candidate. What have any of the other candidate’s done besides raise taxes or issue press release? After all the corruption we see in politics we need people with integrity that can’t be bought like Bloomberg like Catsimatidis
Here, here. People, vote for this guy. God help us if we get people in there like Dinkins and Koch again. Weiner can go back to Brooklyn. We don't need pols like that anymore in NYC.
It's good to see a guy that's willing to spend his own money & resources to make a difference!
