Following Hillary Clinton's joke about (and over-explaining of) the Bosnia debacle on Jay Leno last night, she talked about how early it is in the campaign season.

HILLARY IS ONE BIG 'MIS'TAKE
DENIES DENIAL AFTER 'MISHEARING'

WASHINGTON - First she "misspoke," now she misheard.
Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday seemed to deny that she told New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson that Barack Obama could not win the presidency.
But her campaign later said she misheard a reporter's question.
Asked at a press conference whether she made the comment to Richardson, Clinton said, "That's a no."
She added, "We have been going back and forth in this campaign of who said what to whom and let me say this, that I don't talk about private conversations but I have consistently made the case that I can win."
Campaign spokeswoman Mo Elleithee later said Clinton thought she was being asked whether she'd disclose what she actually said to Richardson, who has endorsed Obama.
"Senator Clinton was simply reiterating what she had just said - she doesn't talk about private conversations," Elleithee said.
Clinton has come under fire in recent weeks about inconsistent statements.
She admitted late last month, that she "misspoke" when she claimed she had dodged bullets while arriving in Bosnia as first lady.

The latest misstep came as supporters of Obama called her claims that he can't win the desperate act of a losing candidate.

"Up until late last year, the common wisdom around here was that Hillary Clinton had it. In fact, there are many who even thought that Barack Obama was probably being foolish to try."
Now that Clinton is 135 delegates behind Obama in the race for the Democratic nomination, she and her loyalists have begun arguing that Obama cannot win.

Federico Peña, who served in two Cabinet posts for Bill Clinton, was one of the first to endorse Obama, "because I absolutely believed that he could win."
"She must believe that Barack can't win and she can, or she wouldn't still be running - but the evidence is absolutely to the contrary," Peña said.
Clinton, who has been courting superdelegates to catch Obama, hinted yesterday that she would go after pledged delegates.
Pledged delegates are a "misnomer," she said. "The whole point is for delegates, however they are chosen, to really ask themselves who would be the best president."

I believe the calls for Clinton to drop out have more to do with how she's campaigning against Obama and not so much the difference in the number of delegates. She's gone very negative and has come close to endorsing John McCain by saying he's more qualified. In a sense, she's given her supporters her blessing to vote for McCain as the alternative. Then, of course, we have Bill.
Her appearance on Leno was pretty disgusting. It reminded me of the tasteless Bush search for WMD. Meanwhile our military are facing actual sniper fire.
This race may be forever tainted by the Obama camp manipulating the media with their caucus wins. 88% fewer voters determine each delegate in a caucus win. Yet the media jumped on Obama's bandwagon after several caucus wins and made it look like Hillary was the one trying to tear up the party, the problem was Hillary had just won Rhode Island, Ohio, and Texas. Any divisiveness is on the Obama camp for demanding HIllary quit a race that is too close to call. If Dirty Politics have occurred, it was the Obama camp trying to stem Hillary's momentum with calls for her to quit the race.
The fact is Obama has a 7% delegate advantage but only a 2% popular vote advantage. According to the Obama camp, this is fair. But if HIllary gets more than her share of super delegates, that would not be fair. Of course Michigan and Florida have to be counted, and when that is done, Obama's popular vote lead shrinks to almost a tie and that is certainly no mandate, especially as it would mean Hillary would be then clobbering Obama in the head to head electoral college voting while barely trailing in the delegate count.
Obama has been given a bump with his caucus wins and the mini-me delegates that have actually been used to manipulate superdelegates even as Hillary's voting base has been diminished with the exclusion of Florida and Michigan.
The real truth about Bosnia:
To all you Hillary bashers out there, the fact is, “you can’t handle the truth!” Hillary is such a fighter she is continuing to move forward. If she had just a little help from the media then she would have already clinched the nomination. Why doesn’t the MSM report the truth about Hillary instead of glorifying Obama? I challenge all of you to report the following information I read about the real truth about the Bosnia gaff.
On April 1, 2008 the New York Times printed an article on "Straight Shooting From Tuzla,” by Lissa Muscatine, former chief speechwriter and Melanne Verveer, former chief of staff for Hillary Clinton when she was first lady. They accompanied Hillary on this trip to Tuzla in March 1996. Ms. Muscatine is now apparently an adviser to Hillary's presidential campaign. Please go to this article at:

In short, this article sheds light on Hillary's account of this Boznia event as appropriate recollection regarding preparation provided to her before the landing documented by the video footage. This video is but one dimension of the whole story replayed over and over again by the press/MSM. The truth is Hillary embellished the actual landing scene because, as it turns out, to paraphrase the article, at the particular time of their arrival at that moment in time, it was safer than anticipated. Prior to the landing of the C-17 cargo plane because they were flying into a danger zone, in fact a hostile environment. Before landing they were issued flak jackets and were given information that the tarmac ceremony might be canceled because of sniper fire from surrounding hillsides. Hillary and Chelsea got moved to the armored cockpit prior to the landing. Other security included strategic placement of armored vehicles around the tarmac. Also, Apache helicopters were hovering overhead. Please refer to the post identified above for the whole story and further information on Hillary's entire trip to Bosnia a hostile environment on a peacekeeping mission by the first lady. Once again, the MSM has falsely and maliciously accused Hillary of lying. In truth, if she is guilty of anything she is only guilty of misstating the details this event which occurred over 12 years ago. How is your memory for 12 years ago? I surmise they wouldn't be as close to accurate on this account either as Hillary's recollections was. My question is, why isn't the MSM telling the whole story on this event instead of playing what looks to be an incriminating story about our first lady? I think we all know the answer to that question. Go Hillary, the only candidate who can run against an opponent, the MSM, the RNC and now it looks like the DNC and still come out with over 50% of the American public vote in states that are not able to lower her base of support (the caucus). You decide for yourself the rest of America. I, for one, trust Hillary’s judgment and I know we can count on her to restore our standing at home and abroad!!! Thank you.
The primary issue is the fact that she claimed to have been running from sniper fire, not whether she was issued a flak jacket or where she sat on what sort of plane. Her "misspeaking" response suggests that she was, in fact, fired upon at some point and just got confused about whether it was in Tuzla or somewhere else. She's never been shot at, so she wasn't misspeaking, or sleep deprived, or being human, or whatever she blamed it on -- she simply made the story up out of whole cloth to be dramatic and then kept repeating it until the archived media footage embarrassed her. Furthermore, being told prior to landing on the tarmac that there might be sniper fire does not, except in the most delusional of minds, translate into real snipers actually firing on the tarmac. It is best not to attempt to defend the indefensible.
Misspoke and joke about it on the show. She was very smart. She has to joke about herself and her snipper story which she was so certain when she told it on live television. She had to make that move before the Comedian make fun of her story. After she said she remember it really well, how odd when she later said she misspoke and she hardly misspoke in 12 yrs. Later in another speech tried to cover up by saying its hard to make speech. The more she cover it the worse it is for her. Now the Billy is having a go at it when he needed to rest it.
I don't blaim Billy, he is finally trying to make up for all the pain he put Hilly through during his campain. Its the same technique. They can't control their campain, her campain managers spend money too early as it comes from trees, and Billys campain earn an affair with one of the intern.
Common Dean, leaving this too long is not about to show who is the best candidate, its going to keep people at home during the Convention. The primary is wearing people and long something diferent. Same ol same ol will result in the cant be bothered attitute at the end of this on going primary.
Pelosi is now on the attack from the Clintonians, be prepare for a court case. Thats their second cafeteria as they are heading there this month.
She is holding this too long so their mate McSame will take office. They do not want Obama in the white house as he will find out the rest of what they were doing in the white house.
They rather have McSame in there, because he will head straight out chasing Osama to hell along with all other American at all cost. He don't care about any records of the white house since he confess about his lack of economic skills. Make no mistake Obama will pick up any loop hole the Clinton left in the white house. And thats why she praise McCains skill rather acknowledging the four year senator is reflecting more leadership skills than her 35 yrs spend in the white house.
If you can't run your house and your camp, how can your run the bigger country and when you cant manage a small group. I have to say after studying management and organization, it is so ashame that someone of her status has run a campain in such a very dis organise way. The funtion of the management skill werent in operation no wonder her people dont get a long, let alone this Penn do his own things and now she can't let go of him but claim he is only doing a lesser role. Says her.

You Demo are suppose to bit MacSame, however, Clinton trust his accountability more than your own party members. So do you think Clinton is still electable when McCain can claim she believe and trust him more than her other party member mainly Obama. Obama is been accused of the many things that mainly come from people around him, but some of the things Clinton are accuse off are very direct and came out of her own mouth, thats the difference.
So think about it, is it worth calling names when the part suppose to put head together and figure out how to defeat the GOP. Looks like you guys are late.
