Clinton Says She Is Not Violating Campaign Pledge on Florida, Michigan

ROCK HILL, S.C.—Hillary Clinton gave a brief press conference after her public rally here.
She began by defending her campaign's decision to try to get delegates from Michigan and Florida seated at the national convention.
"I am not violating the pledge," she said, but added, "I think it's important that we send a message to the people of Florida and Michigan."
She also was careful not to raise any expectations about tomorrow's primary. "We are in a very close contest here...I have no idea what's going to happen," she said.
But she was optimistic about the February 5 primaries. "I feel good about Super Tuesday," she told reporters. "And I feel sorry for those of you traveling with me. I can't promise much sleep, I can't promise you you won't feel exhausted...[But I sense] my support is solidifying across the country."
Asked by a reporter whether she feels "sorry" for Rudy Giuliani as his poll numbers fall in Florida, a grinning Clinton told her questioner, "You are so bad." Growing more serious, she added, "I think anyone who puts themselves into this arena deserves our respect."

I was trying to figure out how Hillary was going to justify her being the only candidate to run in Michigan--which had its delegates stripped of it--while Howard Wolfson repeatedly says "this is a battle for delegates." Impressive--retroactively changing the rules to fit the narrative of your campaign manager. Love it.
She is a harridan and an opportunist that will stop at nothing to get this nomination. I hope she gets it, she will be the easiest to beat in the general election. President John McCain!! we love ya.
The Clintons understand it's all about the delegates. Obama faces delegate challenges in Georgia among other states:

In South Carolina, MSNBC Obama and Hilary nearly even on white male votes. Did anyone look at this? She also is not leading by a large margin with women (SC nor NH) among black and white women (yes, there are other races out there, but these are the only polls that seem to be reported). I think the Clintons better not underestimate for a moment that they have the lead with white voters the way they thought they had the lead with black voters loyal to her husband. Nor the assumption that all women would follw her. Since SC - everyone is looking at black voters, but they are tie on white male voters. They make up half the population too. Their support should not be ignored and the more they marginalize him to a color (which he has not done and says over and over again - he's a candidate for the country - especially being bi-racial that would be stupid anyway to claim) the more that people get upset and think "he's playing race card" but he doesn't play the card or go after only blacks. He did what Clintons did in SC as well because it was majority. But they both turned out even on white male voters. So - this should not be overlooked. Don't let "color" begin to blind. If he's more supported like he was in Iowa, in the nation, then I see now why Hilary wants Florida and Micigan to count (after the decision was made months ago)

note too: the walmart comment came when hilary said obama didn't know about how bad regean years otherwise he wouldn't have "praised" them - he said he did know because he was out there working to save jobs when people were losing them. And though she brought up RESKO, he's obviously popular since she and her husband took a picture with they guy. Its like that lame bodyguard hanging around Britney Spears - so I thought it was funny. Anyway, New Hampshire and Nevada were not huge wins by Clinton - count the numbers. She wins by few. In the debate I didn't like that she tried to twist his words on a sexual violence bill b/c he's had 100% backing for women violence laws and abortion rights to women. She says its a part of the game. Which is fine, but she better stop saying she wants to change anything using obvious and worn tactics. She's so smart - she should begin to explain her vote on Iraq and other votes. And why her health care bill has not passed in 8 years. She needs to defend her record of experience since she does have a history in the White House of not only Monica L. but White Water. Other lawsuits of women against her husband she also spent time on which didn't make news. And check out contributors of the library. More than several shady names there. So she says "play fair" "open game" and she isn't willing to defend or clarify her own record of experienced actions and voting. Women want to know she's not a crap thrower either. People are sick of Bush so she does have a past to explain. Thats her problem. And should be her focus because people WILL ask.
