Joe's problem (one of many) is that he has his priorities all wrong.
With the Senate majority busy going down the tubes, he should spend his energy governing and attending to GOP business -- rather than talking to a NYC magazine. In fact, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to guess that a news article on Joe these days, especially from a NYC magazine, isn't going to be favorable. Didn't the same magazine recently skewer Spitzer? Welcome to the club, Joe. You walked right into a fan.
And given he's already under FBI investigation, Joe shouldn't be discussing ANYTHING off the record. Don't say anything to a reporter that you wouldn't want broadcast all over the internet. The same goes for email. Assume they could be subpoenaed and/or broadcast all over the internet.
Joe is getting old and very sloppy. His whole Senate operation is a mess.
Addendum: The previous comment refers to Ms. Jose's statement that "Joe Bruno decries his New York Magazine profile."
