E Street Band guitarist-cum-Sopranos star Steven Van Zandt and wife Maureen have closed on a three-bedroom penthouse in a converted Methodist church at 135 West Fourth Street, city records show.
In late January The New York Post reported that the couple had bid on the 3,500-square-foot apartment listed at $5.99 million, and while the offer had most likely been accepted, an upcoming open-house had not been resheduled. The deed says the Van Zandts ended up paying $6 million for their apartment in the house of worship formerly known as Novare.
