Mary-Louise Parker Joins Curtains Cast
In her free time from playing a MILF who slings weed on Showtime, Mary-Louise Parker will appear in Curtains, the musical comedy whodunit, currently starring David Hyde Pierce (from Frasier) on Broadway. It'll only be for one night though (dang!) at "A Musical Celebration of Broadway Honoring Roger Berlind" in the Rockefeller Plaza Rainbow Room on Feb. 11. Ms. Parker's singing stylings will honor Mr. Berlind, who has been producing on Broadway for more than 30 years, according to BroadwayWorld.com. His credits include Copenhagen; Kiss Me, Kate; Proof; Anna in the Tropics; Caroline, or Change; Wonderful Town; Doubt; The History Boys; Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?; Deuce and The Year of Magical Thinking. He is currently represented on Broadway with Kander & Ebb's Curtains, Mark Twain's Is He Dead? and Tom Stoppard's Rock 'n' Roll, as well as the upcoming revivial of Gypsy starring Patti LuPone. All proceeds from "A Musical Celebration of Broadway Honoring Roger Berlind" support The Drama League, an association of theater pros and patrons dedicated to encouraging the finest in professional theater with programs and workshops.
