Fox News Tops Competition (And All-Time Record) During Vice Presidential Debate

On Thursday night, Fox News' telecast of the Vice Presidential debate attracted more viewers than either MSNBC's or CNN's. The event also ranked as Fox News' highest telecast in the network's 12-year history.
From a Fox News release:
FNC's coverage of the debate was the network's highest rated telecast EVER, averaging 11.1 million viewers. Additionally, it was FNC's highest primetime average EVER in its 12 year history. See below for the data according to Nielsen Media Research:
Vice Presidential Address:
FNC (9:01-10:33 PM): 11,098,000million viewers
CNN (9:02 -10:33 PM): 10,685,000 million viewers
MSNBC (9 -10:35 PM): 4,412,000 million viewers
Primetime:
FNC: 9,156,000 million viewers
CNN: 7,605,000 million viewers
MSNBC: 3,793,000 million viewers
*FNC's previous high telecast was the presidential address (on Iraq) on 3/19/03 - it averaged 9.7 million viewers
