Monday, February 25th
David Chelsea

Wait, wasn’t Monday the new Saturday? Now we’re left with the Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden—within “America’s largest Victorian-style glasshouse” (do we live on the edge around here or what?)—which returns for a six-week engagement to exhibit and sell thousands of lovely botanical specimens. And then the James Beard Foundation tries to get us back in the drinking spirit with a celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Repeal of Prohibitiona fact that still pisses Rudy Giuliani off—featuring cocktails by a fellow named David Wondrich, author of the book Imbibe! Burp!
