New Tom Cruise Biography: Suri 'Conceived Like Rosemary's Baby'

In a new unauthorized biography of Tom Cruise, Andrew Morton—the author who made a small fortune with Diana: Her True Story—makes some pretty serious and inflamatory claims.
The book, which is scheduled to be released later this month, alleges that Katie Holmes was impregnated, a la Rosemary's Baby, with the preserved semen of deceased Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. It also says that Mr. Cruise’s ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, “feared blackmail” over auditing tapes she made with Scientologists in which she discusses her sex life. Moreover, Mr. Morton writes that Mr. Cruise is the second most powerful person in the church’s hierarchy; and, according to the book, he now plans to recruit soccer phenom David Beckham to the religion.
Additionally, Mr. Morton apparently spends some time focusing on Mr. Cruises close relationship with Scientology leader David Miscavige. Among other things, the author claims that Mr. Miscavige planted a field of wild flowers at the church’s base in California after Mr. Cruise told him that his fantasy was to run through a field of flowers after marrying Ms. Kidman. Perhaps even stranger, Mr. Morton writes that Mr. Miscavige joined Mr. Cruise and Ms. Holmes on their honeymoon to the Maldives.
The Church of Scientology is apparently considering filing a $100 million lawsuit after the book goes on sale.

Morton interviewed “scientologists”. Whatever they said is quotable and not defamation. They said what THEY believed about Suri. Morton reported what he was told, if a member of the cult believes and states it, it is certainly newsworthy.
Morton is being smeared at an alarming level from “unnamed” sources. This is exactly what the cult of scientology does to ANYONE who dares question or expose them.
Google this: volcano Xenu galactic !!!!!
Read in Shock, then fal down laughing~!
If Morton gets his socks sued off it will be because he earned it. To speak of living children as he does is distasteful.
It is awful what Morton says about the Cruises. Though there are noticeable resemblances between Suri Cruise and L. Ron Hubbard.
This Morton guy must have gone crazy or something to invent those stories about Tom. I hope he will be sued into bankruptcy. He’s just a leech living off other’s fame. First he sucked out Princess Diana now it’s Tom and Katie. The book is not being published in Britain because their libel laws require that truth be published. The US has not so good libel law but others, for example clearcut lies like the ones you list out here can be compensated with hundreds of millions of damages to be paid.
The book is not being sold yet and not given out to journalists. So how do you know? I think you are one of those anonymous "sources" smearing Scientologists and others. The most basic teachings of Scientology are that man is a spirit and not his/her body. Thus "sperms" and the body donating them are the most unimportant part of procreation. If Morton had done any research at all or talked to anyone at all he had realized how disgusting those allegations are. Maybe he actually has. In that case I hope he is being sued into oblivion.
Morton is a frequent contributor to the National Enquirer, and the Star in the U.K. (which is even worse), once with an expose about gay aliens framing Michael Vick. A great researcher he must be.
"Mr. Morton" I am shocked you called this troll of a man "Mr." What a sad and evil person he must be to write such lies about Princess Diane and now this. I am sadden that The New York Observer would even run this piece or mention his book.
I don't know why these people are so concerned they want to sue. Google has made a religion out of violating an authors legal right to copyright. The book will be downloaded online where people will read it instead of buying a copy, the author will get nothing except the fame at having written a book about the most lunatic personality of our time. The lawyers will have nothing to sue for since the profits are low.
Maybe Mr. Cruise can call Shirley Maclean to commisserate.
That's one ugly baby. Looks like Ol' Mother Hubbard himself.
This is all much ado about nothing. Everyone out here in Hollywood knows the truth. Tom Cruise screws around with guys. It's common knowledge and quite frankly, who the hell cares anymore? His marriage to Kidman was nothing more than a ten year contract cooked up by CAA to create a beard for Tom and escalate Kidman's career. It's not a coincidence that when Tom was caught with a famous rocker at a fancy Sunset Blvd hotel by the rocker's wife, within a matter of months he was "in Love" with Katie Holmes and soon married with child. It's sad the extremes some people will go to hide who they really are to keep their careers alive. If truth be told, if every gay person in the entertainment industry were to come out of the closet middle America would have to come to terms with their homophobia real quick. Unfortunately, in Mr. Cruise's case, his Church of Scientology provides him the perfect lock and key. It's all pretty sad and kind of scary as well.
I recently read about the “Unauthorized biography of Tom Cruise” and dislike the continual attacks on the Cruise family because of their support of the Scientology religion. I will give you a few facts about the Scientology religion that you might not know.
In 1957, I realized that much of our world was based on greed, fear, and violence but also realized that it didn’t have to be that way. I envisioned a world based on kindness, knowledge, and reason. I found another person with similar beliefs and that person was L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Dianetics and Scientology. We wrote to each other from 1957 until Ron’s death in 1986.
We live at a time when prudent management of our natural resources is essential if we are to survive on Earth. We can already see diminishing fossil fuels, adverse climate changes, and shortages of water as near-future challenges. We have to get along with each other well enough to accomplish vital tasks, related to the prudent management of resources. In short, we need to develop a sustainable future for life on Earth. Planetary solvency is one of the most important issues of our time.
We will not succeed if we continue to waste our remaining resources on activities that involve man’s inhumanity to man. Just look at the budgets of the most powerful nations and you can quickly see that significant spending occurs in the areas of war and weaponry.
Dianetics and Scientology were developed to put an end to “man’s inhumanity to man” once and for all. Scientology does not replace religions such as Christianity, Judaism, or Islam, and it was not designed to. Ron and I have always encouraged people to worship God in their established religion. Scientology should be done in addition to other religious activity and is vital because you can get a full understanding of the spiritual nature of human beings. It is actually more important to understand others than it is to understand yourself, because an understanding of others is essential if people are to get along with each other.
The future of others can depend on our attitudes toward them and what we do.
