Paterson Still in Charge

Just in case you were worried, Joe Bruno is not the governor.

Even though he was hospitalized this morning, David Paterson is still at the helm of the state, a spokeswoman said in a brief email just now. Bruno, now second-in-command, since there is no lieutenant governor anymore, would be asked to take over if anything happened to Paterson.

The governor was admitted with migraine-like symptoms this morning. He is currently resting.
