A little after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, one lucky three-year-old horse will be led into the winner’s circle at the 134th Kentucky Derby.

Here are some of the ones that might get there:

No. 20—Big Brown: With War Pass out of the race, he could go wire to wire.

No. 10—Colonel John: Never runs a bad race. But can he run on a real dirt track ?

No. 4—Court Vision: Has improved since coming to Churchill Downs. Training great. Will have blinkers on for the Derby to keep him more focused.

No. 16—Denis Of Cork: He’s won at Churchill in the past that’s a big plus. Has only been beaten once in his career.

No. 19—Gayego: Nice colt, but may have trouble getting the distance.

No. 9—Pyro: Lost the Blue Grass, but still the one to beat.

No. 8—Visionaire: Ran a good race in the Blue Grass, finishing fifth. Will be running in the stretch.

I'm picking Pyro to win it, Big Brown to finish second and Denis Of Cork for third.

Safe trip to all riders and horses.
