This weekend, when the Bronx Democratic Party votes on whether to oust County Leader Jose Rivera, Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion will be in Florida, campaigning for Barack Obama.
A spokeswoman for Carrion e-mailed reporters to say he'll be in Florida and Philadelphia campaigning for Obama, and "he will also attend the South Orlando Debate Watching Party and promote voter registration."
This morning, asked to comment on the leadership fight, Carrion said, "I've always allowed the political battles at the county level to be handled by its chairman and the people who are interested in that."
