David Axelrod Has No Fear
Before the vice-presidential debate in St. Louis on October 2, I asked David Axelrod what he expected Republicans to produce as an October surprise this year, and whether his campaign was prepared to defend against them.
Now, just a few days later, with Sarah Palin referencing Bill Ayers on the stump and talking about Jeremiah Wright to The New York Times, it seems clear that the McCain campaign's pre-election strategy will be to question Obama’s character by playing up his associations with political radicals.
Back in St. Louis, Axelrod did not seem worried.
“I expect that they are going to be very aggressive,” he said before the debate, and reporters started gravitating towards him. “But you know, look, one thing I never expected was that anyone was going to come marching out of the Republican National Committee and say, ‘OK, we give up three weeks before an election.’ I think they are going to run a very aggressive campaign and I think a very negative campaign. So--and then there are things you can never anticipate. Who knew this meltdown on Wall Street was going to happen when it happened? But we’ll take what comes and put one foot in front of another. We have three more debates, including this one, that I think are going to be important. So any number of things could happen. But is there something that I fear? No.”

david axelrod used to be a political writer for the chicago tribune. he used his connections there to get jack ryan's divorce records unsealed by a friendly judge in california. ryan was obama's republican opponent in the race for US senate in 2004. ryan and his wife had both requested the records be kept sealed, out of concern for their young child. they both objected vigorously to having their divorce records unsealed and made public. but the judge decided that there was "compelling public interest" in unsealing them. once made public, ryan tanked in the polls and obama cruised to an easy win.
is this the kind of "change" we need in our political contests?
No reason for Axelrod to fear anything, he has the full power of the Democrat Party, the domestic media, the international media, the Chicago mafia, the Saudi oil money and billionaires George Soros at his back, to keep him safe with old Tony Rezko all locked away afraid to speak out for fear his family will be swimming with the fishes and Tony sleeping with the dead head in the bed. Just in time for a financial collapse brought about by Soros, Obama is ready to roll on his indoctrination of our children before his healthcare eliminates the older amongst us and those who dare speak out against him.
It's curious why the press is always so quickly willing to dismiss evidence of Obama's judgment when it comes to his associates. The Wright and Ayers relationship haven't been properly vetted-- they've only been dismissed after being proved that neither of these men are desirable associates. Why is it that an in depth revelation of these relationship, and the fact that Obama administered $100 million/year for Ayers, the former active domestic terrorist, in distributing funds to extremist political organizations in Chicago isn't an issue? Ayer's associations are with the Weather Underground, who advocated the overthrow of the US Constitution and it's government, a view he has not repudiated. And Obama and Ayers were/are political allies. Doesn't this say something about his judgment and political views that he's not willing to state so plainly? It's relevent. The press has failed the American people.
THe media is so biased towards Obama it is un American and
frankly quite scarey. How OBama can deny his political career began with the support of an American terrorist makes him
even more unworthy of our trust. I hope the media wakes up
and realizes what changes will happpen in America if Obama is elected. If Obama is elected we all lose.
I think it is amazing that all these posters don't mention any of mcCain and palins associations, well here are some:
McCain - has accepted thousands of campaign donations and claims him as "an old old friend" - who? G. Gordon Libby one the criminals responsible for the Watergate break in and plotting robberies and murders - a man who like Ayers stated he wished he could have done more...the difference Obama was 8 when Ayers committed his crimes, McCain was an adult with full knowledge of Libby and his crimes..wouldnt he qualify as a domestic terrorist? Google or You tube it folks..
Palin - her husband was a member of the Alaskan Independence Party for about 5 years up til 2002. Please google or you tube this sect. They wish Alaska to secede ( leave the union of the United States) and the leader of this sect has said things on the same level as jeremiah wright...i will paraphrase some of the hate their leader spoke to Todd Palin about: 'i could melt all the glaciers here with my hate of the United States and her damned institutions which we have no use for' ...so Obama finds himself on a charity board with a university professor who then hosts or is at a political function at the beginning of Obama's political career and then he has no further regular contact with AND Palin is MARRIED to a man who once wanted to have his state cut itself off from AMERICA! What do you know about YOUR candidates, GOP??
Is that country first?? How can McCain supporters not see the other side of this argument...THINK people if Obama was hiding something it would have been found by the ardent Hillary supporters who wanted her to be the candidate...the DNC would of found it, they would not pick a nominee who would lose at this state of the race because "we don't know him" They are planting a seed and praying it grows, somehow I think O's campaign has always been a step ahead of McCain and in the long run it will be a shame that he ended his campaign this way..
It is clear to me that the McCain campaign is desperate. If you can not come up with real job plans and specific plans to help the middle class, attack the character. It is not very inspiring.
It is also not believed by many that Obama is a terrorist. His record shows differently.
The person that has been most destructive to America is George W Bush. McCain has an association with him that needs a real critical examination. Bush has inspired more violence against America in his "shock and awe" bomb dropping, inflamitory words to "bring it on" to those that would want to harm us and his stance on torture. McCain and Palin are inspiring anger and violence in a mob with reckless use of the word 'terrorist'.
It is irresponsible.
It is not uniting our nation.
I would not have fear of this nonsense either. Unless 51% of the people are jumping on this fear train.
PLEASE... I need help to contact David Axelrod. Because, I have been fighting Social Security Disability for the past 8 years. I have Generalized Epilepsy - and so does one of his children. I have been treated unfairly by the government. I have done evrything they have ever asked of me. Now, I am informed of two life threatening conditions that comes with my type of Epilepsy. I am scared! What bothers the most, is that when I'm denied, I can't make any sense out of their reason why. They even put things in that are not even true. Or they don't even use evidence that is right in front of them. Sometimes I'm even afraid to go to sleep, because people have died from having seizures in their sleep,(which I do).
So, if you could help me get in touch with David Axelrod, I would do anything. I would even give you my whole story. People need to be better informen about Epilepsy! Mainly because the SSD does not have expert doctors on their side like they say they do! Again, please help!!!!!
