not a markowitz fan either but (not verified) says:

bloggers for no land grab etc have a conflict of interest because they are involved and themselves claim they are losing their homes....

NoLandGrab (not verified) says:

No one affiliated with NoLandGrab has any "conflict of interest" with the Atlantic Yards project, nor do any of us stand to lose property via eminent domain should the project move forward. However, it's hard to fathom how "not a markowitz fan either" could think that someone trying to defend his or her home against an unjust eminent domain seizure would have a "conflict of interest." It would seem such interest would be quite clear, and justified.

The record shows that many advocating on behalf of this project (Marty Markowitz, BUILD, ACORN, etc.) have received financial benefit, directly or indirectly, from developer Forest City Ratner. In our book, that sure smells like conflict of interest.
