Bruce Blakeman, recently announced Republican candidate for mayor, is taking a plain-spoken approach.
On his campaign web site, the first sentence under “issues” is, “Why the heck am I running for Mayor?”
After explaining his career in the private sector and concern over public education and the economy, he writes, “OK. I know I have rambled on a bit, but I deeply care about all of these issues and more, and I look forward to a full and detailed discourse to provide a vision and path to future prosperity for this great city I love.”
