Giuliani on Obama, Obama's Battle for Red States

Rudy Giuliani will not be John McCain's running mate. [The Swamp]

On TV this morning, Giuliani called Barack Obama stubborn. [Spin Cycle]

Obama has spent three times as much money on salaries as McCain, at least partly because he's hiring lots of staff in traditionally Republican states. [Bloomberg]

Those red states that Obama is going after aggressively reportedly include New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Montana and the Dakotas. [Washington Times]

Mitt Romney wrote off $45 million in debt from his presidential campaign--which frees him up to be a running mate. [Boston Globe]
