Hillary Asked to Campaign 'in Several States' for Obama in August
At a press event held by Hillary Clinton about FEMA trailers out on Long Island today, I asked her about the campaigning she planned to do for Barack Obama between now and Election Day.
She said, "During the month of August, they've asked me to go to several states. But I'm going to leave it to them to announce. I don't want to in any way get ahead of them. But, you know, I'm doing whatever I'm asked and whatever I can."

Forget Hillary Soprano being ask to campaign in a few states.
What state will "Eric Pearlmutter" be at next ?
Who is Eric Pearlmutter that is the question for CNN to answer. Why did they choose him. This is the beginning of "OBAMA SUPPORTER GATE" it started as a little interview. But were does it lead. How far up the chain of command does it go. Is there a national plot to discredit the College Republicans, and if so who is behind it.?

SENATOR CLINTON WILL HELP SENATOR IN A BIG WAY . HE IS LUCKY TO HAVE HER SUPPORT . I VOTED FOR HER . I STILL FEEL WE LOST A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY .
OOPS IT SHOULD READ "HELP SENATOR OBAMA ...." SORRY .
OOPS - IT SHOULD READ "WILL HELP SENATOR OBAMA ......" SORRY.
Where is edwards, will he be hitting the trail big in august? what about dodd, biden, kucinich. Why is hillary asked to campaign when Obama's not even being bothered to try reach out to her constituents? why is it her job to win this election for him and no one else's? She has to go traipse around speaking policy because he doesn't know how? This whole election is so demeaning.
Senator Clinton can now be seen gushingly supportive of Obama, and charming. Not much of a people person, but immeasureably fond of policy wonking (so tht she can become the world's authority on every subject) she can polish her high profile among the voters once more by "campaigning" for Barack, before she is permanently shelved and returned to the senate to wonk her heart out, content, doing what makes her happiest. Hillary in the senate, without the distraction of always calculating for a presidential run, will surely net more legislative substance from her than anyone saw in her work in the past.
Senator Clinton is a good Democrat and a class act. Her support will be an invaluable assist for Obama anywhere she goes to campaign for him.
How I vote in November will hinge on whether or not the Democratic Party follows it's own party rules as doggedly as they did in the Rules and By-Laws Committee of the DNC when they denied FL and MI their full delegate strength.
The Rules mandate that all the candidates who won elected delegates are placed in nomination on the First Ballot at convention, with nominating speeches, followed by a legitimate state by state roll call vote. By Rule the Super Delegates votes are cast in convention assembled.
If the nomination is not handled strictly according to the Rules, indeed, if they fast gavel it through in a motion to nominate by acclamation when the primary election was so terribly close, I will either stay Home Sweet Home on Election Day or vote for McSexist.
Ann995, I share your questions and your pain. Senator Clinton's role in this primary was so pivotal that it's a wonder that he is considered the victor with a mere 127 elected delegates separating them. That is less than three tenths of one percent, not even statistically significant.
T
Of course, the cant to force her to drop out started right after Iowa. As the volume of the Bandwagon propaganda got louder his projected win actually narrowed. By June it had reached such a decibel level that you would have thought that he had already won the election.
Indeed the nominating convention has morphed into a Coronation. It is as though the Inauguration is on Labor Day with plans to move into the White House by November, nevermind the General Election.
I'm afraid for the Democrats that this hubris will catch up with Obama, but maybe not. Hubris didn't deter Bush from running this country into the ground like a Third World Dictator. A country gets the leadership it deserves.

Actually, Obama has been heavily courting her supporters. Look at all the meetings he's had in the last month that dealt with women's issues. It's only natural when you had a contest this close and this historic, that the victor would ask the person who lost to help them campaign. As far as Edwards goes, that's a interesting question. I'm assuming the national enquirer article has something to do with it. Unless the story is validated as false, I see Obama acting very warily around Edwards.
God - I miss Hillary. She is smart and strong and was easily the BEST candidate.
Hopefully the first couple of times Hillary campaigns for this fraud, the PUMAs will be in force and the chants of "DENVER DENVER" will embarase Obama and Hillary will never have to speak up for him again. WHY would Obama want her to campaign for him? I mean according to his camp she is nothing but a racist who will say anything and do anything, so I think he should get someone else to try and convince Hillarys supporters he isn't worse than Mccain. Darn it's a shame the other Dem that cares about working class people and UHC, probably won't be able to campaign for him, since he is busy with his "family values". Does anyone else wonder if the reason he came out to show support for Obama RIGHT after spending days on TV saying he was staying out of it for a while, was he was Blackmailed? Nah, Obama was never known to dig into opponents private lives to blackmail them, those times in Chicago where his opponents divorce records were unsealed and had to drop out were just lucky coincidence for Obama.
Why do the DNC and BHO want Hillary and Bill to campaign for him. This are the racist and carculating people the accuse during the campaign.
I will vote McCain. DNC you stab me on the back and I will vote Mac.
I do not think senator clinton can deliver what obama is looking for which is to say the coaltion she won. I think the bulk of that coalition will go to mccain. It is naive to think otherwise. I do believe she will go back to the senate. However it seems inevitable that she will not be able to achieve what she had hoped to achieve for the american people. I think it is likely though not certain that Obama will run someone against her if 2012 because he wants absolute power. I do not think his presidnecy will be good for the middle class,or working poor. Frankly, the next four years would be tough on any president. That is all he will get. But the people who are happy about the present situation will feel quite differently about Obama two years hence. I do not think Hillary will run again, which is a shame.
Mr Messiah Doesn't Need Senator Clinton's Help,He Has David Axlerod And A Host Of Charley Manson Crew Across America And The World,But It's A Proven Fact That Those 18 Million Votes That Obama Got Over Those 17 Months Before It Were Known About All The Baggage He Were Involved With,Today He Doesn't Get Those 18 Million Votes,That What's Not Being Told To The American People.Mr Obama Would Be A Worst Risk Than Senator McCain Hands Down
My problem with Hillary campaigning for Obama is his total disrespect for Bill Clinton. Obama bragged on Ronald Reagan throughout his campaign pointing out what a loser Bill Clinton was as a president.
In my opinion, Bill Clinton was one of the greatest presidents and I would say that about him even if he had been a Republican. My support for the Democratic party is just about zero now.
I know there were only a handful of power crazy greedy Democrats running the campaign. However, after seeing all our elected Democrats endorsing Obama over the majority of their constituents choice/votes for Hillary, the Democratic party left me.
If the Democratic party has no loyalty to their voting constituents they sure as heck won't have any loyalty to us when passing laws for our good. It looks to me like all these corrupt people are out for themselves and their friends. Democrats are no better than Republicans when it comes to doing what is best for "the people" it's all about what is good for them.
Obama and his greedy Democratic friends won't get my vote. At least John McCain still seems to have some humility. Obama is so arrogant I doubt humility has ever been his thing.
If the democrat ticket does not read Obama/Clinton it's not getting my vote...I would sooner write in Clinton.
I still hope for a miracle:
that on Denver Democratic Convention it will be Hillary the nominee-and not Obama!
Obama is playing now as a pop star-where was his interest, when he was a member of International committee? And now he's learning his lesson in geography by traveling to the countries,he didn't know where placed on the world map.
He'd be a disaster to the country!
It's not Hillary's job to get this "empty suit" elected.
They think that they can delegate to her these
responsibilities in a fashion in which no other candidate has
been expected to in the past, largely due to her gender--
obviously. God bless my mother, and daughter, if I should be
so lucky. I'll tell her: "Never defer something to a man
because you're a woman--fix that sink yourself, if you want
to, REALLY, honor your grandma."
No Hillary.........No vote. I will writer her in.
