Obama's Hoffnung, and a City Council Candidate

City Council candidate Ari Hoffnung of the Bronx is enjoying the fact that his last name mean "hope" in German, and that Barack Obama’s recent trip to Germany has generated a lot of headlines featuring the words "Obama" and "Hoffnung."
And of course, there’s also the German translation of Obama’s book, the Audacity of Hope, which Hoffnung is happily displaying on his web site.
