Tickets for Oscar and Pulitzer winner Bob Dylan's Prospect Park concert tonight are going for upward of $565 each, according to Gowanus Lounge. Meanwhile, tomorrow's print Observer will have a story about a real estate deal that connects to Mr. Dylan.
Coincidence?

I think that the reporter should have checked the facts about the REAL prices of the Dylan Prospect Park tickets. The original official prices as listed on Ticketmaster were $85 and $100 for reserved seating and $55 for general admission seating on the lawn. The price quoted above is for a ticket purchased from unauthorized ticket sellers. No way are Dylan tickets ever as much as $565 when sold legitimately through ticketmaster or another official ticket-selling oganization. They are usually very affordable compared to many other performers and groups.
@ Dylan Fan:
Well duh...it's called people want to make money.
I was at this concert courtecy of a friend. It was bought through another dealer and for two ticks i happened to see it was almost 500 dollars. I couldn't belive it but the actual price of the ticket was 55 bucks. I was very confused to say the least.
No doubt duh! Hey Mr Dylan Fan - have a look at the ticket prices on craigslist sometime - - I think half the shows Ive been to in NYC have come from scalpers.
