Report: Hillary Clinton Campaign Has Lodged Complaints About Chris Matthews With MSNBC
Greg Sargent at TalkingPointsMemo has confirmed with sources of his that the prime beef Hillary Clinton's campaign has had with the MSNBC network is the pugilistic behavior of Hardball's Chris Matthews.
Apparently both Mandy Grunwald and Howard Wolfson have complained to the network about Matthews' treatment of their candidate; and everybody remembers the embarrassing apology Matthews was compelled to offer (by his own conscience, or by others? Watch the video above and judge for yourself) after he suggested that Hillary's strength as a politician was derived from her victimhood in the Whie House after her husband's philandering became publicly acknowledged.
So, has David Shuster taken punishment for Matthews' sins? That's still mostly just speculation.

Who says you have a good heart? You! You never weigh your words. I have heard you say many things that should not have been said. We listeners think a lot but we never say much. The announcers and reporters are trying so hard to keep Hillary from winning. I hope you don't wake up too late. You select things that has no bearing on the main issues and hammer them home leaving out the issues we need to hear about. Change? What kind of change?
Hillary has a good record of things she has changed and she is not given credit for it unless you bring in character, etc. Shame on you and the likes of Shawn Hannity. He makes a living out of criticizing Bill and Hillary. If someone mentions the weather he brings in something the Clintons did. Listen to him! You do the same. Most all Fox station reporters and talk show hosts do! It is just plain jealousy. You have to ask yourself why? Christian? I don't think so!!!!! Wake up man and be a man instead of a pawn. Fair and balanced I don't think so. I am so tired of you lumping Democrats into one category that of a liberal. I along with others are sick of it. Most of us are probably more conservative that you Republicans. The Democrats are for the working class, the poor and the Republicans are for the big business men. Isn't that why you put the Demos down so you won't loose your jobs? Would you have it other wise? Put yourself in the shoes of those you put down and you still do it!! You must know Hillary is older and wiser and smarter. What do you, any of, you really know about what Obama has done. You don't. You have just jumped on the band wagon and you better hope the wheels don't fall off when the excitement and glory fades!!
It's all about Chris Matthews all the time. His two books, "Let Me Tell You What I Really Think" and "Life Is a Camapaign" clearly indicate that. Matthews is a sexist and he really doesn't want Hilary to be nominated. He is leading the old boys club - Olbermann, poor Shuster, Scarborough, and most of the guests who come on -- in ragging on Hilary. The snyde, bitchy comments are repugnant. He has turned MSNBC into an infomercial for Obama. His stupid "I get a shock up my leg. . . (referring to Obama's Potomic speech), his phoney let me give advice to the Hilary campaign because they can still win (!), his buddying up and bullying guests is repulsive. Some have suggested that he is wierd. It's worse--he isn't a reporter or an analyst worth listening to. Poor Kieth is tiresome with his tirades and Matthews is a joke -- fun to watch but not take seriously.
I have followed Chris Matthews and his programs for some time now and am appalled at his biased reporting of this election. You don't need to ask who he is voting for! Yes, Chris and others (unbelievable that Carolyn should try to shove Obama down our throats after staying out of our lives for all these years..shame on her). She very well knows what we all went through when her father was assinated, it altered all of our lives and not for the better.
The American male is so misogynistic and chauvistic that they will do the most stupid things. Where were they when we all voted for another president and still got Bush. I do not like to lumping all American males together, but in my long and much experienced life it to some degree is sadly true. Just because you have something dangeling between your legs does not mean you have brains.
Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann have lost their journalistic objectivity and are so biased that they have lost much of their credibility through this election season that I might as well watch Fox.
MSNBC needs to fire all of them, God they have gotten so out of control (i thought i was watching FOX LOL) that Chris M, Joe S and the rest need to just report. Obama is a breath of fresh air in a stinking sewer of Washington DC politics as usual. Both Democrats and Republicans have lost touch with the real "grass roots" world of the common American citizen. They both pander back room deals and spend tax dollars on all kinds of special interests while they watch American workers getting flushed down the toilet, as corporations unload them before they can retire, export their jobs to other countries, and transfer their huge corporate profits to off shore accounts so they don't have to pay taxes.
If HRC manages to get nominated by some back room super delegates in spite of an Obama lead in regular "elected" delegates, then the DNC is as corrupt as their counter parts.(Remember the last election was decided in a courtroom not a ballot box and the one before had a lot of hanging chads!)
What this country really needs is a third national political party--the "American Party" and color it purple for all the bruises the common folks have been subjected to for the last 16 years! Those bruises have come equally from both democratic and republican abuses. So if we want to find common ground to solve our problems then purple is it, not red or blue.
Neither the left arm nor the right arm of a person's body can work properly unless it is connected in the middle by the head! The same is true in politics and right now there is no real voice for the middle! But there is hope--and it just may be in Obama! GO PURPLE!

If Chris Matthews can't say it, I will. Everything Chris said about Hillary and her philandering husband is true. Although I voted for Bill Clinton during his election, I quickly lost respect for him because he lied to the American people when he first said he had nothing to do with that woman(Monica Lewinsky). Hillary is an abused, beaten and downtrodden woman, in denial, who is trying to redeem herself at the expense of the country. Bill Clinton thinks if Hillary wins the White House, he will be forgiven by her. It is all a game for both of them. We not only need to build up our defense of America by spending money on weapons of mass destructions but we need to invest heavily in every American Family. We need to start with the childern who will be the adults of tomorrow and what better way to do this than to give the children a real hero in OBAMA. A man who gives them hope and a smile. If every person who watch and listen to OBAMA speak finds themselves smiling when OBAMA flashes that infectious smile, it is a moment when all of America is safe. We need a lot more of those moments. The press should spend time talking about Obama plagiarism rather than spending valuable time talking about his empty speeches. This Obama man has no ethics. We can not have a president that plagiarises whenever he speaks.
Chris can be overbearing at times, but I respect his right to say whatever he pleases; this is America after all. Who do the Clintons think they are? I was considering becoming a Clinton supporter, but after seeing them throw their weight around to get Hillary elected, I will not be voting for Hillary if she becomes the Democratic nominee. The Clintons are at the root of why media coverage about them is sometimes negative--how do they expect positive spin after injecting race into the campaign or threatening to steal the election by seating "phantom delegages" from Florida and Michigan? The Clintons believe in winning by any means necessary. I'm just sorry Cris Matthews had to cave to their imperialistic demands. Ugh.

I am sorry but I use to love Chris Matthews and his shows. However I have changed my opinion of him because of his attitude about Hilliary Clinton. Instead of reporting the news, we have to hear and watch his expressions concerning his opinions about Hilliary. I only wish that we would have a news program that reports news and not another's beliefs or opinions.
I would like to know that the nuclear power plants do not have to report mistakes they make which can affect people and their health. Why didn't Obama do something about this when he had a chance. People have to die of cancer because Obama doesn't think it is important for the nuclear power industry to report their mistakes to the public. Would you like to die of cancer because no one has to admit mistakes about these plants? I think this issue is very important because cancer is a serious disease. I know everyone realizes this fact so why isn't this brought out until Obama explains why he didn't do something about this horrible, horrible result that these plants do not have to volunteer their mistakes if they don't want to. By the way he gets at least a quarter of a millions dollars from one of these plants. Hmmm makes you wonder I hope the hell it does!!!!!!!!

Why do you people keep saying Obama has won. Has everything changed this year because a black is running for president. Does he not have to get the 2200 or so delegates? I have never heard before that the one with the most won but the one that got the amount it takes to win. But then everyone is afraid they will offend the blacks. So What...there is a lot more whites being offended. Its okay I guess if they bump off kids in college and adults for good jobs because they are black but this is just too far.
