Ron Kuby will be joining Air America Radio. According to press release posted on The Huffington Post, Mr. Kuby, who had previously co-hosted a show on WABC with Curtis Sliwa for eight years until November 2007, is replacing Randi Rhodes after she resigned from the network following her suspension for making derogatory remarks about Hillary Clinton.

Mr. Kuby, a lawyer, is a protege of legendary New York civil rights attorney William M. Kunstler, who died in 1995. Both men share the distinction of being name-checked by Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski during his Malibu interrogation scene in the Coen Brothers' cult film, The Big Lebowski.
