David Gordon Green's dream of becoming the next Terrence Malick may have stalled a bit after the lukewarm reception of 2004's Undertow, a heavy family drama starring Jamie Bell, Dermot Mulroney, and Josh Lucas. But he's back with—you guessed it!—another heavy family drama, entitled Snow Angels, based on the Stewart O'Nan novel of the same name. And he wants to tell you all about it. He'll be at the Apple Store in Soho, Wednesday, March 5, chatting up fans and shoppers alike and showing clips from the movie.

Picked up at last year's Cannes Film Festival by Warner Independent Pictures, the movie will open two days after Mr. Green's appearance. It stars Sam Rockwell, Katie Beckinsale, Olivia Thirlby, Amy Sedaris and Griffin Dunne. “I had a blast on that movie,” Ms. Thirlby told our own Sara Vilkomerson, who profiled the Juno star in this week's edition of The Observer. “It was kind of a starting point for me. … That was my first taste of everything … and I was just so massively excited to be there. The opportunity to work with David Gordon Green … I mean, to work with him was incredible.”
