Eliot Spitzer may have ignored shouted questions from reporters at his brief appearance in Midtown yesterday, but he picked up the phone at his home last night when the newspaper of his alma mater, Princeton University, called.
From the Daily Princetonian:
When contacted at home on Monday night by The Daily Princetonian, Spitzer declined to comment on his situation. When asked whether he will resign the governorship, he said, "I just can’t answer the question.”
From what I've seen, this is the first time any reporter has been able to directly ask the question.
