Studies: More Kids Moving Back Home and Loving It

A couple of months ago, we wrote about the reality of twenty-something Brooklynites returning to live with their parents in the brownstones and apartments they grew up in, and feeling no shame about the decision. The evidence was largely anecdotal.

Not anymore.

According to the Wall Street Journal this morning, studies confirm that more and more twenty-somethings are moving back in with the folks:

Based on a new collection of studies, the deepest look so far at the failure-to-launch trend, the pattern is likely to persist. And as it becomes more widespread, researchers say, the stigma traditionally linked to young adults' living at home will fade.
