Stop Asking Mary-Kate Where Heath Ledger's Drugs Came From

Well, that didn't take long. When the New York Post reported today that Mary-Kate Olsen was refusing to speak with investigators about Heath Ledger's death unless she was promised immunity, the unsubtle implication was that Ms. Olsen knew something about Ledger's death that she wasn't telling. Maybe, some speculated, she had even supplied Ledger with drugs! Or at least, knew where he got them. This afternoon, though, her lawyer put the kibosh on those assumptions, telling Us magazine's website that Ms. Olsen "had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger's home or his body, and she does not know where he obtained them."
Okay then!
But that wasn't all Ms. Olsen's attorney, Michael C. Miller, had to say: "Regarding the Government's investigation, at Ms. Olsen's request, we have provided the Government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger's death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed.
"We don't know the source of the information being quoted in the media regarding the Government's inquiry, but these descriptions are incomplete and inaccurate."
Mr. Miller's statement indicates that Ms. Olsen has cooperated--to what extent, we don't know--with the investigation into Ledger's death, even though a source told the Post that Ms. Olsen has not, in fact, cooperated. This testimony, whatever it is, hasn't been made public, so it's difficult to assess how accurate Mr. Miller's statement is.

actually, i'm more interested on where hendix and morrison scored. and by the way, who's servicing the gore family these days?
OK NYPD...get your heads out of your a**es! If "Miss" Olsen is refusing to cooperate without immunity she knows "AND" is guilty of something. Why else is she trying to cover her a** so much, or is she just trying to be the drama queen she is make herself look important? Give her an option...cooperate, or get a subpoena from the grand jury and put her a**in jail for obstruction!! These celebrities think they can get away with anything! Drunken driving, drugs, assault, gun trafficking...they are no different then you or me!!! I say B*llsh*t, stop giving them a slap on the wrist because of who they are and treat them like human beings. I think "MURDER" has crossed the line for even a celebrity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree that not even a celebrity should be able to elude the police if there is an implication on their part. If it was anyone else they would have been thrown in jailed and then asked questions later. Celebrities are to be given the same due process as anyone else. I commend the judges who are able to look past a celebritie's fame and serve them with due process. But until the rest of the judges uphold their oaths then all other judges will get a bad rap.
