Noth by Nothwest? Alicia Witt, actress and friend of Chris Noth—this being the name by which civilians know him—shows off her musical chops at a charity event for Ten O’Clock Classics, an organization bringing music education to inner-city kids. Ms. Witt told us how she met Mr. Big: “We did half a season of Law & Order together,” she said. Since then, Ms. Witt has moved onto greener pastures, i.e., a film with Al Pacino. “It’s called 88 Minutes,” she said, adding that it’s out April 18. Naturally, we pumped her for details on Al. “He’s got a really cute sense of humor,” she revealed. “I found him so adorable and so goofy in some ways. Like the way that he loves food, just like me. He’s not some imposing, intimidating actor that walks around behaving as though he’s a legend. He’s just completely cute and we would sing Broadway show tunes on the set between takes!” Oh, Al! The film, incidentally, is “about a forensic psychiatrist who gets a call saying he has 88 minutes to live. I play his teaching assistant and his close friend who has a sort of weird relationship with him … one of those things where they both kind of want more than being friends but there’s a big age difference so it’s kind of awkward.” Um, yeah. You don’t say …
