Bloomberg and Schwarzenegger in New York

Michael Bloomberg's "soul mate," Arnold Schwarzenegger, is in town today. Here's what they'll be doing, according to mayor's schedule:

*12:30 PM Hosts 2008 New York City Card Luncheon with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
The Four Seasons Restaurant
99 East 52nd Street between Lexington and Park Avenues
MANHATTAN
*Q & A to follow.

7:00 PM Speaks at National Marfan Foundation Annual HeARTworks Gala
Cipriani
110 East 42nd Street between Vanderbilt and Lexington Avenues
MANHATTAN

8:30 PM Appears on 30 Rock
NBC

11:00 PM Interview with Governor Schwarzenegger Airs on Charlie Rose
PBS

I'm trying to avoid making any (more) jokes about the movie Twins, but in any case it's worth noting that one of the things that unites these two is Bloomberg's elusive political adviser, Kevin Sheekey, who Schwarzenegger tried to hire.

Actually Schwarzenegger isn't all that tall. I bumped into him coming out of a shop once, and he's about average height for a man. His bodyguard, however, was huge. This was midday, midweek on the notoriously dangerous posh upper blocks of Chicago's North Michigan Avenue. The shop might have been Chanel.

"Whom" Schwarzenegger tried to hire, damn it, whom!
